API keys

  • The client endpoints of Numbers, Emails and Captchas require an X-API-Key header carrying a cr_live_… key. A missing or invalid key returns 401.
  • The claim socket takes a single-use ticket from POST /numbers/providers/mobile/claim/ticket instead of a key.

SDK 4.0.0

  • The SDKs read the API key from CLEARANCE_REST_API_KEY (PHP: apiKey:) and send it as X-API-Key.
  • numbers.claimSocketUrl() makes an HTTP call to fetch a single-use ticket. It returns a promise in Node and blocks in PHP. A reconnect needs a fresh call.
